Track Review : Nyasha Timbe - Wandipedzera

There is a massive shortage of RnB music in Zim, many artists are joining the Dancehall or AfroBeat wagons...it pains me. Nyasha Timbe is one talented vocalist and songwriter from Marondera, not that much known for he has a few tracks compared to other RnB artists, but when he puts pen to paper he always produces some amazing tracks. His track Zvaramba (Walking Away) was an instant classic. The only problem is that Nyasha disappears after releasing a track, consistency is missing from the crooner.

Wandipedzera stayed true to RnB roots, most RnB tracks local or international have hip hop beats (Trey Songs, The Weekend..etc). Personally I believe Rhythm and Blues (RnB) must be mellow, chilled with more focus on the lyrics rather than the beat. The instrumental on this track takes one back to the Jagged Edge, Jaheim, Joe Thomas era. Loving the instrumental, can listen to this all day. Smooth.

The track is about going crazy over your loved one. Thinking about them every time when you alone, dreaming about them. Some relationships start as a joke but turns out to be something very special, a relationship which the two of you did not even imagine. Loving the track.

Hope Nyasha doesn't disappear again after this track, Zim needs such good music, we can't always be listening to turn up music.
