Poptain stormed the music scene two years back and was then considered among the top urban artists in the country. However being famous has its drawbacks and last year he admitted to suffering from mental issues which made him take a break from music. Beginning of this year he became active again, he seems rejuvenated and back to enjoying doing what he loves. He is even launching a record label.  To mark his return to music he has released this perfectly titled Redemption EP. In my experience EP's have been used when an artist wants to either test a new sound or when they have many songs left over from e previous project which they feel people need to hear, so which is which here??? Have got my copy of the project and today after some time of listening will be sharing my views and thoughts on the project. 1. Gary has that unique urban touch that has won him over many fans. He introduced himself with Wapunza and since then he has been showcasing his undeniable talent. Last year he serenaded us with the lovely track, Show Me Love which was in the various charts for months and was even the top track at some point. Given the level of love Gary gets its surprising how quiet this launch has been, probably he felt he should let the music do the talking rather than spend money trying to promote it, maybe??!!.
