Proud Zimbo's Top 5 Tracks of June

June is my birth month so its a special, was expecting a lot of releases in this month but it did not reach the levels I hoped for. However a number of tracks were released and as we reach the end of the month its now time for the best tracks for that month. 

Prophecy ft Kuda Chamisa & Baba Tencen with the superb track Kumusha was the top track for May. In the month of June I managed to do a review of exactly 5 tracks, so each track will feature.

So here we go:










1.  Bryan K - Heavy Machine
Bryan experimented with a new sound on this jam and it worked. Was not sure as to how about the new jam but he won me over in the past weeks. Reverb 7 did a great job on the production and Bryan was awesome on the vocals. This is a solid jam.

Album Review: Asaph - Kingsvilla 2

Zim Hip Hop is a polarizing genre, it has its few loyal fans then for others its nearly non existent. For me most of the tracks are generic and they don't do it for me that much but now and then there comes an artist that just wows me and restores my hope in local hip hop. Asaph is one such artist, he announced his arrival with the Kingsvilla Album last year and got some heads turning. He then went on to release the follow up Kingsvilla2 and this time I decided to give myself a chance to listen to the album. After a couple of listens I was keen on making a review of the album, and get to share the project with fellow Zimbos. So ya today will be giving my thoughts on the album.
