Track Review: Josh ft Elli-ot - Feeling Happy

Randomly browsing soundcloud and reverb-nation has helped me come across some superb tracks from the local scene that I would have not heard elsewhere. So this morning I came across this track by Josh featuring Way Too Nice artist Elli-ot. Listened to the track because of Elli-ot, he has showed a lot of promise on the few tracks by him I have listened to. 


The track was produced by Russo and he did a great job. The is a feel good track and the instrumental shows that. Russo is not that known for his keyboard skills but on this track he did surprisingly well. The overall production of the track is standard. Great work on the production.

The track is about feeling happy. Its about those times where you're feeling grateful and feel like dancing. Life is a precious gift and it needs to be celebrated. Ups and downs are inevitable, but life remains a priceless gift hence we must thank the Lord for such a gift and enjoy it. 

The vocal performances were on point, they did justice to the lovely instrumental. One can actually feel the happiness/joy in the vocals. The track is arranged quite well and by the end of track you will feel like dancing and singing along.


In overall this is a lovely jam. It makes you feel good, and I don't mind listening to it over and over again. The production is good, the vocals are good. Nice jam.

Mixtape Review : Brythreesixty - Purple Mars

Brythreesixty has finally released his much publicized Purple Mars Mixtape. 2016 is more like a do or die year for him. He has to show if he can compete with the best and in a year dubbed by many as the Year of Zim Hip Hop he is gonna have to put in more work than before. So how does Purple Mars fare?? God Feeling ( Sikelela ) ft J.S.K.X.X.V.I The first thing you hear is the nice laid instrumental which am loving.
