Mrs Janet Manyowa had the best Gospel album for 2015, King Of Glory (King Of Glory Album Review ). Also included her among the top ten artists to look out for in 2016 (Ten Local Artists To Look Out For In 2016). The Album made me a big fan of her, even now a year after the album was released it's still sounding awesome as the first day. When gospel music is based on an actual bible verses it tends to last and stick longer than when its just generalized, because well the word is the gospel. (King Of Glory was based on Psalms 24).

So when I heard Mrs Janet was releasing a video was very excited, given how I loved her album and also how good her last video was, I was anxiously waiting for it to drop. Its finally here and I have to say I was not dissapointed.

The video is clean and straight to the point. Even for someone who cannot understand shona he/she can comprehend the theme of the track, the story-line is just very well done. Its well directed and the quality is very very good. Great Video.


This will definitely be in contention for video of the year come the awards season. Mrs Janet Manyowa is changing the local gospel scene, her music is top class, her videos are international level and also there are a number of new gospel artists who are trying to sound like her, that just shows you she is doing something right.

Mixtape Review : Brythreesixty - Purple Mars

Brythreesixty has finally released his much publicized Purple Mars Mixtape. 2016 is more like a do or die year for him. He has to show if he can compete with the best and in a year dubbed by many as the Year of Zim Hip Hop he is gonna have to put in more work than before. So how does Purple Mars fare?? God Feeling ( Sikelela ) ft J.S.K.X.X.V.I The first thing you hear is the nice laid instrumental which am loving.
