Song Review: The Ghost ft Simba Tagz & Gze - Hapana Chekumirira

Hip Hop was kinda taking a back seat in recent months, with less songs being released. Most of the song released in the past months were more on an Afro-beat tip, so having a song which is pure hip hop is welcomed.

On this track, The Ghost teamed up with Showtime Records artist Simba Tagz and super rapper Gze.
The track was produced by Cuttybeats. The instrumental is on point, am loving it. Not too fancy but smooth, well mixed, well mastered. The song is about keeping on hustling, "Hapana Chekumirira". Tagz as usual gave a nice hook, however on his verse his rap game was average. Gze on the other hand delivered a great verse, rap game on point, he always stands out whenever he features

Its not a track that's gonna be a massive hit, but it a great song to listen to. At least they are working to keep Zim Hip Hop alive.

After some time Dj Naida is back behind the mic with this new song Jaiva . Dj Naida is one of the few respected female Club Deejays and MC in the country. Despite concentrating more on the deejay side Naida is a fierce MC who can drop some serious bars. She is back with a house track, how does it fare?? The track was produced by Showtime Record boss Reverb 7 together with Showtime Record rapper Simba Tagz. Reverb 7 is no newcomer to house music as he is a deep house producer and DJ himself. Simba Tagz is also massively talented on the production side with a couple of hit songs under his belt, the most known being Pee Kay's Ma1 .
