Track Review : Karizma - Heartless

Karizma has released a new single from the Upcoming NGNGv3 Mix-tape. The song came with a video. Karizma is based in London and is one of the artists pushing Zim Hip Hop to the world. He was a host on the popular hip hop show on Zifm Stereo called the Fixx. He has given us the super classic track Tsvarakadenga featuring Kazz. Its been time since he gave us a super song and this track is currently generating a lot of buzz on social media.

Karizma's tracks are mostly about swag but this one is on a more grounded tip. On this track he is pouring out his feelings about the struggles he faced and still face of his music journey. This is a track from the heart. The instrumental is great, chilled...it does not take attention away from the lyrics but it compliments the feeling behind the track.

The video is simple but awesome. Pairing the video with the theme of the song, the complete package is just superb. It serves the purpose very well.

In overall this is a great offering from Karizma. Despite being a huge fan of Tsvarakadenga, his other tracks never really hit the right spot with me and was never a fan. This track however changes that. He was sincere in the song, composed, singing about stuff many Zimbos can relate to. The lyrics on this track are on point. I'm definitely warming up to him and am loving Heartless. Now will be counting the days to the release of #NGNGv3

Mixtape Review : Brythreesixty - Purple Mars

Brythreesixty has finally released his much publicized Purple Mars Mixtape. 2016 is more like a do or die year for him. He has to show if he can compete with the best and in a year dubbed by many as the Year of Zim Hip Hop he is gonna have to put in more work than before. So how does Purple Mars fare?? Will be reviewing my top 4 tracks from the Purple Mars Mixtape and will leave  the others for you the fans and readers to rate!! God Feeling ( Sikelela ) ft J.S.K.X.X.V.I The first thing you hear is the nice laid instrumental which am loving. God Feeling is about feeling like a boss regardless of the current challenges and putting your trust in God. Success starts from within and this track is about having a winner's mentality. In terms of the verses both the guys were in beast mode and they gave superb verses.
