Freeman - HKD Singles

The Dangerzone Boss Freeman has released a two track EP. Freeman is on of the biggest dancehall artists in the country. He has been on top of his game since he released his first album back in 2011. He is the reason behind the popularity of Dangerzone. Below is a song by song review of the EP:

1) Pesinari ft Dorcas :  This track is about relationships. Freeman is saying whenever there are problems in a relationship, the two people involved must learn to talk to each other rather than rushing to tell relatives and friends. The song was produced by Dollagettaz & Tesho. Its a nice song, not a banger or chart topper but a nice song nonetheless.



2) Happy Holiday: This is a party summer song. Although we are still in the middle of Winter. It seems Freeman is already gearing up for summer. It may seem too early which also may be true or he released the song early so that when summer arrives fans will already be knowing the song word by word. The song sounds nice, a great party song.  The track was produced by T-man and JMP


This EP will help maintain Freeman's reputation in the highly competitive dancehall genre rather than propel him back to the top. In overall the EP is a nice package.

Mixtape Review : Brythreesixty - Purple Mars

Brythreesixty has finally released his much publicized Purple Mars Mixtape. 2016 is more like a do or die year for him. He has to show if he can compete with the best and in a year dubbed by many as the Year of Zim Hip Hop he is gonna have to put in more work than before. So how does Purple Mars fare?? Will be reviewing my top 4 tracks from the Purple Mars Mixtape and will leave  the others for you the fans and readers to rate!! God Feeling ( Sikelela ) ft J.S.K.X.X.V.I The first thing you hear is the nice laid instrumental which am loving. God Feeling is about feeling like a boss regardless of the current challenges and putting your trust in God. Success starts from within and this track is about having a winner's mentality. In terms of the verses both the guys were in beast mode and they gave superb verses.
