Track Review : Kazz - Thinking Of You Remix (ft Cal_Vin, Q Rigga & Jungle Bwoi)

Kazz "Mr Boomslang" has been making serious moves since the split of Bkay & Kazz. He released the banger She Is Worth It last year,(She's Worth It Review) and it earned the 4th place among the Top Tracks Of August (2015). The original Thinking Of You was released a month ago and it has been received well by Zimbos. As a gift to the Zimbos as Zimbabwe turned 36 on the 18th of April Kazz released the remix to his banger. So how does the remix fare??

The instrumental is on an afro pop theme and its sounding fantastic. They sampled Robin S's Show Me Love instrumental to add that good feeling vibe to the track. The overall production is clean and balanced. The vocals are well audible. Great work on the production.

The name of the track gives you an insight on what the song is about. Its when you are thinking of your partner and all the stuff you wanna do with and to them. We are all guilty of daydreaming about our partners and what we would wanna do with them.

Kazz was in charge of the chorus and he nailed it, he showed how talented he is. The reigning King of Hip Hop Cal_Vin had the duty of the first verse and he owned it, showing how he can adjust and blend in with any type of instrumental. Q Rigga was in charge of the second verse and he gave a great performance, his rapping is reminiscent of the early 2000's type of rapping. Jungle Bwoi had the duty of the last verse and he applied the dancehall/reggae feel the track needed. The collaboration works very well, each artist has a different vibe and because of that they complemented each other very well, and there were no clashes. Great performances.

In overall this is a very solid jam. Kazz put up an formidable line up here, hopefully he gives us the visuals to this jam.

What are your thoughts on the track???
