Track Review : Zyon Black ft Tafnaz & Thabo Tizzle Mamelodi - Jungle Cat

Zyon Black of back with a new track yay !!!, this guy makes me go crazy every time he drops a new track...so ya am excited with every new offering he releases. This time he features Tafnaz and Thabo Tizzle Mamemodi on this house track. Zyon last offering was Rudo Rwanhasi ft Aura The Poet and am a big fan of the track. Rudo Rwanhasi received commendable airplay on all local urban radio stations and was also in the Hot 99 Dubstep to ten charts in South Africa.  So how does the new track fare ??

Zyon Black has proved to be a versatile producer, which led to me coining him the EDM King of Zim. He can make great Dubstep, great Drum & Bass, Bigroom, Trap and House. This new track is on a house tip and its sounding pretty good and the track definitely meets international standards. They fused the track with some trap elements, the trap bounce reminded me of Dark Horse by Katy Perry. In overall the track is well made, great work from Zyon Black.

The track is about getting lost in the rhythm, unleashing the inner animal (Jungle Cat) and enjoying the sound. Tafnaz & Tizzle were in charge of the vocals and they did justice in that department. Their voices complemented the instrumental very well. Great song.

This track will get a lot of airplay on urban radio stations and with a bit of luck may introduce Zyon Black to the International EDM scene. Loving the track.

Mixtape Review : Brythreesixty - Purple Mars

Brythreesixty has finally released his much publicized Purple Mars Mixtape. 2016 is more like a do or die year for him. He has to show if he can compete with the best and in a year dubbed by many as the Year of Zim Hip Hop he is gonna have to put in more work than before. So how does Purple Mars fare?? God Feeling ( Sikelela ) ft J.S.K.X.X.V.I The first thing you hear is the nice laid instrumental which am loving. God Feeling is about feeling like a boss regardless of the current challenges and putting your trust in God. Success starts from within and this track is about having a winner's mentality.
