Track Review : Tehn Diamond ft Simba Tagz - Bho Tsano

We literary spent 2015 waiting for the Perfect Tehn and just like the year before....we got nothing!!!. Towards end of the year Begotten Son tweeted that the Perfect Tehn is done and we should brace ourselves for we are about to be blown away.....and then..."sigh", three months later we still waiting to be blown away. Like really???!! this album better be  iconic. To calm down the anxious and now angry fans Tehn decided to drop Bho Tsano featuring Simba Tagz. Don't know if the track is a single from the album or its a stand alone single. So how does the Bho Tsano fare??


Loving the instrumental on this one, the beat is well made, chilled, laid back and just on point. Tagz showed he still got the Midas touch on this one. He was concentrating more on afro beats recently and its refreshing to know he still can make awesome hip hop beats like what he used to do. The track is very audible and good on the ear regardless of where you listening from. Thumps up to you Tagz.

The track sounds like Tehn's indirect response to all the comparisons, conclusions and negative comments that were being aimed at him during his "sabbatical leave". His verse on this jam left me  with mixed emotions, the Drake inspired part did not please me much. I respected Tehn for his originality and that part uhhhhmmm...point lost, he improved more as the verse progressed though. In overall  l enjoyed his verse (minus the first Drake part) but it did not blow me away as l expected.

Tagz was in charge of the hook and he nailed it, its definitely the best part of the track. His style of singing complemented the instrumental very well. Another thumps up to Mr Tagz.



This track serves as a bridge for fans to hold on to till Perfect Tehn drops (I hope), good move but Bho Tsano has lowered the expectations for The Perfect Tehn a bit. Its a good song, nothing exceptional. As a fan now am split, is this the Tehn who will be in the album or it's the Be Amazing Tehn????

Mixtape Review : Brythreesixty - Purple Mars

Brythreesixty has finally released his much publicized Purple Mars Mixtape. 2016 is more like a do or die year for him. He has to show if he can compete with the best and in a year dubbed by many as the Year of Zim Hip Hop he is gonna have to put in more work than before. So how does Purple Mars fare?? God Feeling ( Sikelela ) ft J.S.K.X.X.V.I The first thing you hear is the nice laid instrumental which am loving.
