Track Review : Varaidzo - Mutongi Wemoyo

Varaidzo shocked the whole of Zim with her amazing Vocals on the track Ndoita Manyemwe then she went into hibernation. She was lauded as the Zim Version of Mariah Carey, despite her featuring on the track, and singing alongside an iconic artist Leonard Mapfumo her voice was the talking point, and much of the song's success was due to her voice. She is now back, and lets see if she can still live up to the hype she created with Ndoita Manyemwe.


Mutongi Wemoyo was produced by Jonathan Hundah (J.Dot) and he did a great job on the instrumental. The classical elements used in the instrumental gives the track that magical feel. Job well done Mr J.Dot.

Varaidzo showcased her amazing vocal abilities, and she did very very well. She was not extreme as on Ndoita Manyemwe but she was standard. Which is a great move for following up such a high performance, her fans won't be disappointed. She was a bit calmer on this one and its sounding pretty well.

Mutongi Wemoyo means the King/Ruler/Owner of my heart. She is telling her partner that he has all her love, he makes her full and she cant live without him. Its a great song and will definitely be a favourite of many. Personally am loving this track. This track will help her create her own image away from Ndoita Manyemwe, looking forward to many awesome tracks from her. Listening to this track I now imagine how a collaboration between her and Trevor D will sound like???!!! **fingers crossed**

Mixtape Review : Brythreesixty - Purple Mars

Brythreesixty has finally released his much publicized Purple Mars Mixtape. 2016 is more like a do or die year for him. He has to show if he can compete with the best and in a year dubbed by many as the Year of Zim Hip Hop he is gonna have to put in more work than before. So how does Purple Mars fare?? Will be reviewing my top 4 tracks from the Purple Mars Mixtape and will leave  the others for you the fans and readers to rate!! God Feeling ( Sikelela ) ft J.S.K.X.X.V.I The first thing you hear is the nice laid instrumental which am loving. God Feeling is about feeling like a boss regardless of the current challenges and putting your trust in God. Success starts from within and this track is about having a winner's mentality.
