Sinte ft Roki - Sweet Lady/Pfichuka

Am loving this new vibe of music coming from Zim. This is a song by Sinte of the Tambisa Dako fame featuring Roki called Sweet Lady/Pfichuka. Its one of those songs you love from the first listen and will definitely get you on the dance-floor.

The song has a great instrumental, it reminds me of The Way by Exq ft Roki. The beat is lovely, This is the new sound of Zim dance/party music. They may have taken foundation from Naija beats but the beat has been tuned and it sound Zimbabwean, its an evolution, a new identity of Zim music. The vocals are well recorded Sinte vocals and lyrics are on point, Roki as always nailed his part. The song is about kuPfichuka dancing like you crazy

Roki is definitely on the right course to redeem himself, at this rate by end of year he will be back to his mesmerizing and 'Chidzoka' level. Love Love the song

Album Review: Asaph - Kingsvilla 2

Zim Hip Hop is a polarizing genre, it has its few loyal fans then for others its nearly non existent. For me most of the tracks are generic and they don't do it for me that much but now and then there comes an artist that just wows me and restores my hope in local hip hop. Asaph is one such artist, he announced his arrival with the Kingsvilla Album last year and got some heads turning. He then went on to release the follow up Kingsvilla2 and this time I decided to give myself a chance to listen to the album. After a couple of listens I was keen on making a review of the album, and get to share the project with fellow Zimbos. So ya today will be giving my thoughts on the album.
