Chashe - Love Me Not
This is a new offering by Chashe titled Love Me Not. The song is a follow up to another beautiful song Like Fire. The song is a love song, and is beautifully produced.
Chashe was recently in Zimbabwe where she performed at the Harare International Festival of Arts (HIFA). She was largely unknown when she released Dhi the song that introduced her to Zimbabwe. This song Zvekupenga ft Tinashe Makura was greatly received and became an instant classic.
This song is about that awkward moment when you need to define whether you are friends or are dating. This is when two people who started as friends now have feelings for each other and they are both reluctant to make the next move. One will not be sure if the other person feels the same way as they do, that will be holding them back from making the next move but at the same time does not want to leave that person.
Chashe showcases her great vocals and songwriting prowess on this track. She is just super talented and seriously beautiful. I love this song, its definitely gonna be a favourite of many and will receive a lot of airplay on all urban local radio stations. With the great singles she has released so far, can't wait for the album.
