Proud Zimbo Music Awards 2020

So at the end of year I usually gave my top projects of that year, be it top 5 or top 10. For 2020 decided to take it up a notch and do the first ever Proud Zimbo Music Awards. 

Decided to make them a small online event. So for a start could not award too many categories, I decided on just 6: Newcomer of the year, Collaboration of the year, Female artist of the year, Male artist of the year, Album/Project of the year and lastly Song of the year. 

So I teamed up with a friend and colleague who does not want to be named yet and each compiled a list of their own and then we combined the two lists. It was quite an interesting task and after some months of listening and going back and forth on tracks, this is what we ended up with..

Mixtape Review : Brythreesixty - Purple Mars

Brythreesixty has finally released his much publicized Purple Mars Mixtape. 2016 is more like a do or die year for him. He has to show if he can compete with the best and in a year dubbed by many as the Year of Zim Hip Hop he is gonna have to put in more work than before. So how does Purple Mars fare?? Will be reviewing my top 4 tracks from the Purple Mars Mixtape and will leave  the others for you the fans and readers to rate!! God Feeling ( Sikelela ) ft J.S.K.X.X.V.I The first thing you hear is the nice laid instrumental which am loving. God Feeling is about feeling like a boss regardless of the current challenges and putting your trust in God. Success starts from within and this track is about having a winner's mentality.
