Nutty O - I Will Never

Nutty O is one extremely talented artist. His vocals are always on point, his style can match up with the best in Africa. Included him among my top 10 artists to watch in 2016, now 8 months into the year he is still releasing some awesome tracks but is yet to find that crossover hit that will endear him with the majority of Zimbos. Regardless I still stand by him and believe he has what it takes to penetrate the African market faster than the other local dancehall artists.

The dancehall genre is so congested and its hard to keep up with all the released tracks. Nutty O released a couple of track recently, the most known among the pack is Don't Do It Alone which is getting quite a lot of attention and receiving a commendable amount of airplay on the urban radio stations. However for me the track I Will Never managed to catch my attention the most because it applies more to my life right now that the other tracks.

The track is on the Emotions Riddim, which is sublime. I'm a big reggae fan and this riddim goes in, eish!! it hits the right spots for me, its superb. Great work by the producer. The overall production of the track is standard.

The theme of the track is the winning point for me. Nutty is saying he will never ever give up on his journey. The track is quite simple to comprehend and straightforward. Its for people like me who are aiming to achieve big things  and are willing to push for it regardless of the seemingly impossible task in front of us. Pain, tears, sweat and a lot of sleepless nights will be endured before one reaches their destination in life. On the other hand know that the Lord is by your side. Quite inspiring.

Nutty O is gaining a good reputation mainly becasue of his vocal abilities and on this track he was fantastic, he proved why a number of people are tipping him to be the next big thing. He blended well with the lovely riddim.

In overall this is a solid jam. I'm a sucker for reggae music, good reggae music and this song is a very good song. Love the whole arrangement of the track. The major challenge Nutty is facing is that his music is more foreign than local and that's making a number of people overlook him. If he manages to change that perception he will blow up in a  very big way.

What are your thoughts on the track??
