Welcome to the 8th episode of the best album from Zimbabwe series. As usual today will be sharing with you another 5 of some of the best albums to ever been released in Zimbabwe. This is a series that can help you familiarize and learn about Zim music so without wasting much time lets dive into the five albums for this episode.
1. Prince Mafukidze - From Where I Stand

This is the album that made Prince Mafukidze a household name, it contained the classic gospel track Chitsike. Other track from the albums are : All Things Are Possible, Hallelujah Amen, Handirare (Missing You), From Where I Stand, Crossroads, Simudza & Chitsike Instrumental.
These twins were like the K-Ci and Jojo of Zimbabwe, they delivered a number of classics in the early 2000's. Have selected this album as it contained some of their most know classic tracks such as Tenda and Ndiyambuke. The album also contained tracks such as; Pafunge, Baba, Ndichakuwana, Ndakuona, Uya Utambe, Ndazvipira, Dambudziko Rangu and Uya Utambe(Remix). She is known as the Queen on Ballad music and this is one album that earned her that title. She mesmerized the whole nation with super lovely classic jams such as Tisaparadzane, Wadarireiko, Pasina Iwe, Ramangwana and Ndoitasei. Other track on the album include; Zam Zam, Aneni, Hapana, Wakaenda, Hapana (Remix) & Ndichagarira Vana Vedu. This album will explain to you why many 90's kids hold Plaxedes in high respect.
He earned the name King of Township music in Zim when he released this album. Even 18 years after the album was released it still sounds fantastic, with tracks such as Wake, Paidamoyo, Nyenyedzi, Mariana, Mahobho, WekuMbare and Buhera this is truly a collector's album. It also very hard to get your hands on a copy of this album as its not available on any online shop, you can only get the tracks from YouTube. Tanga Wekwa Sando's tracks have this amazing feel and allure to them that you cannot even escape.
5. Alexio Kawara - Kana (2008)
Lex is one of the finest artists in the country no argument about that, he possesses a very strong and smooth voice that has been soothing and mesmerizing Zimbos for more than 10 years now. He has released a number of albums that are worthy to be featured on this episode but today will pick Kana. This is the album that signaled Alexio's switch to working with a backing band, its the album that signaled his maturity, departure from the urban grooves movement and showed Zimbos what to expect from Alexio in the future. It contained classics such as Nyaya Yerudo, Karwiyo Aka, Umu, Famba & Shaina.
