Top 5 Tracks : Jah Prayzah

There are a lot of big and iconic artists in this beautiful country of Zimbabwe and on this series will just be picking my 5 favourite tracks from those artists. So if you ever wondered what my taste in music is like, this series will definitely answer that question. So every two weeks will be giving you a new episode, so keep following the blog and vlog channel on YouTube.

The first artist I will be concentrating on is the man of the moment Jah Prayzah. JP is building an empire in the local music industry, he is the biggest artists in Zim now and given how things are going he will be among the biggest in Africa. He is flying the Zim flag high on the continental scene and at the same time opening many doors for other Zim artists.

JP has been in the game for some time now and he has give Zimbos many hits but on a personal note he ever really caught my attention till he releases Jerusarema in 2015. So all of my favourite JP tracks come from 2015 to date. Without wasting much time lets get down to the countdown.

5. Tiise Maoko (Jerusarema 2015)
Talking about personal prayers this is one fantastic prayer from JP. The production is done superbly, the track is inspirational and it sounds awesome.

4. Eliza (Jerusarema 2015)
This was the standout track from Jerusarema, its superb and it's the ultimate party jam from JP. More that two years after its release this track still get people going crazy like a brand new track. It could have easily taken the top spot but it just not as sprititual as the song on umber one.

3. Seke (Mdara Vachauya 2016)
This track is JP's dedication to his mother and like I said on the album review it's a fitting dedication. Its a passionate  and emotional track with so much energy. I can't help but dance and enjoy this track.

2. Chinamira (Jerusarema 2015)
This track is full of energy and I love it. Production is done superbly well and its still sounding good since 2015 till now. Also loved the visuals of the track. Its a standout track from JP's best ever Album so ya it definitely earns a spot on this list.

1. Goto (Mdara Vachauya 2016)
Although the album it came from is not the best from JP the tracks just shines above the rest. The jazzy production on the first half of the track is done superbly and the last part is just unrivaled by any other track. Loved this track from my first listen, even stated that it was my favourite track from the Mdara Vachauya album and fast forward a year it has become my favourite track from JP. For those who have witnessed JP live you can testify that this is the song he performs better that any other song.

So ya those are my 5 favourite tracks from JP. Other honourable mentions are:
> Kurumidza (Mdara Vachauya 2016)
> Chengetedza (Kutonga Kwaro 2017)
> Mdara Vachauya (Mdara Vachauya 2016)

Feel free to comment with you best 5 tracks from Jah Prayzah!!!
