2015 Song Releases and Reviews

New Song Releases of 2015 and Reviews

Ya I know we only 16 days into the new year, it seems too early, to premature to be talking about new songs but well am me and an update can be done anywhere anytime. Zimbos must always be up to date with the great songs their country has to offer!!

Following is a small list of songs released in in the few days we have lived this year and also my reviews of the songs

  • Exquisite ft Nesto & Roki - Pore Pore : This is a beautiful song, laid back and serenading. Its easy on the ear. The instrumental is soft and the lyrics perfectly match the instrumental creating a classic RnB Rap fusion, with a hint of old school on the song. Exq is back to his best self, soft spoken, smooth rapping. Nesto is Nesto, he provides that unique flavour he always brings with his crazy lyrics. Roki does justice to the chorus showcasing his vocal talent. The combination works. A must listen to song                                                                  Rating:5/5 Download Exq ft Nesto & Roki Pore Pore

  • Reverb7 ft Simba Tagz & Tehn Diamond - NaNaNa : Reverb is improving song by song, his house beats are always on point and this year he has started with a banger. A deep house kind of song. The instrumental is amazing, the quality can match any international house song. It is a head bumping song, a laidback deep house lively song. Tagz always rocks wherever he features, on this track he sang and gave us the catchy chorus. Tehn Diamond did the rapping (ASs he always does) and obviously we all know how good Tehn flows. The combination works. A must Listen Track.                                                                                       Rating:5/5 Download Reverb7 ft Simba Tagz & Tehn Diamond - Na Na Na

  • Exquisite ft Roki - The Way : Exq has started the 2015 with the biggest bang. His partnership with Roki is amazing. This song is a dance floor tune for you and your bae. Roki laces the song with his smooth melodious voice, and Exq does commendable justice to the bars. The song is well produces and the beat is awesome. A great afro beat song, at least one that does not imitate Naija beats, applause to that. At the end of the song you will be singing along with Roki "Chiuno Chiuno, Go Low Go Low". A must listen.                                                     Rating:4/5 Download Exq ft Roki - The Way

  • Trae Yung ft Ras Caleb - Bvunza: This combination is a bit tricky. The song is good, however Trae Yung represents Hip Hop but now she seems to be singing dancehall music. The combination will work for all dancehall fans but less loved by the Hip Hop fans. Trae Yung delivers her usual bars, variety is though lacking in her rapping technique. Ras Caleb always delivers and this song is no exception, he owned the song with his great distinct reggae. People will refer to the song of a Ras Caleb song than to Trae Yung. The combination dose not work as the artists imagined. You can listen and enjoy Ras Caleb.                                     Rating: 2/5 Download Trae Yung ft Ras Caleb - Bvunza

  • Nox - Ndibatsirei : Nox has evolved to become versatile artist, he has no single genre he sings. Since the Urban Grooves Movement was disbanded, Nox is yet to find a genre which he concentrates on, however despite the genre Nox sings about Love. This song is no exception as he sings asking God for help in searching for a good girl. Nox is undoubtedly vocally talented and he also shows that in this song. The song is good but it offers nothing new to fans, its typical Nox. His die-hard fans will be head over heels with this song other will be less interested in it. A good Song to listen to.                                                                     Rating:3/5  Download Nox - Ndibatsirei

  • Dejavu Riddim - Cashlibs : Reviewing song by song on the riddim is strenuous, so will just rate the riddim as a whole. It features artists such as: Seh Calaz, Ninja Lipsy, Kabhidha, Celcius, Jay C...etc. The riddim is more of a one drop riddim than a dancehall riddim. The riddim is good, but nothing really different from other riddims. Listen to if your favorite artist has sang upon it.                                                                                                        Rating:2.5/5   Download DejaVu Riddim by Cashlibs
