Tamy Moyo - The Bvudzi Jena Album Review

Image
The Queen of pop has finally dropped the much anticipated project. Over the years she has won over many fans and topped the charts with various singles, Zvandiri, Tekere, Kuteera just to mention a few. She has also in the period featured on a number of solid tracks. This was one album I have been waiting for for years, have seen believed that Tamy has come of age and its now time she stamps her authority on the pop throne. The album has finally dropped and as usual rushed to get my copy and today will be sharing my thoughts and views on the album. 1. My Love is Yours On this Tamy is saying honey you know my love is yours. Production is done quite well. Tamy delivered a good performance.  2. Umthandazo   Tamy could not resist the Amapiano craze, well who can. On this track Tamy is saying get on your knees and pray whilst the time is still right sometimes it's hard to find direction in life. Production is done well.  3. Rudo (ft Souljah Love)  This track will immediate...

ExQ - Verified Milestone Album Review

Image
Mr Putiti is back with an much anticipated project. He is in a form of his life and over the past 5 years everything he touches is turning into a hit so when he announced this album despite giving a short notice the hype instantly caught on.  Definitely rushed to get my copy and today will be sharing with you my thoughts and views on the project. Major questions are how will it fare compared to his iconic last project Tseu Tseu?! We'll know at the end of the review.  Intro: Takwegura This is definitely one long intro! The intro track has a soulful vibe which I love, overall production is laid back. Definitely setting the tone of the album well. On the track ExQ is saying we have grown in love. He is narrating where their love started until now when they have grown in love.  1. Nepangu On this track ExQ is asking his love why she loved him given all his flaws and sometimes backward character. He also goes on to appreciate how she uplifts, motivates, supports and loves him....

Freeman - Robbery Album Review

Image
Freeman is basically the alternative name for consistency, it's such an amazing feat to have someone who delivers consistently good projects for such a long time, ove  a decade now. When he releases you know its good before you even listen to it and he delivers. His last album Freeman & Friends was very well received and I was a huge fan of the concept. He is back again with another project titled Robbery, how will is fare to the last project?? We'll know at the end of the project. 1. Zvichanaka On the first track Freeman is saying it shall be well, we all want a good life. We grew up hearing it shall be well and not we still hear it without any change in our life, but keep on going. Production is good, arrangement of the track is quite okay.  2. Robbery Freeman is saying I love you so much that they can even put him in jail because he will commit a robbery to give you all you want. The wordplay is good on this track. Production is done well, they went for a reggae arrange...
