This song is not new, but it the most inspiring gospel song l have heard in the past 3-4 months. The song strengthens me, will post it because it will help out another Zimbo out there who is in need of divine strength at the moment. Even for those who are not Zimbabwean, be blessed also. The queen of Zim Urban music, the AFRIMMA 2015 best female winner has dropped another banging video for the song LOVE YOU. The song was  released as a surprise to her legion of fans and follows up the two singles she released late last year ( Ndichiri Mupenyu & Summer Time ) which are both doing great on their own. The song has a dance feel to it that will make it quite a favorite of many, the song has an afrobeat flavor but Cindy kept it original and doesn't try to sound Nigerian..l applause her for that. In terms of the lyrics, they are of a love nature which is typical Cindy and we love it. New offering from Okoye Swag ft Nox. This is a great song. At first you will think this is a Naija song and the name of the artists Okoye Swag seems Nigerian till you hear him singing in Shona. The chorus is catchy, that's a bonus for the guys. The production is great, the vocals are audible and well mixed. However those who push for originality (me included) will heavily criticize this song. The song is nice but you will spend more time convincing a foreigner that the song is Zimbabwean, the beat is reminiscent of Nigerian beats and even the way they are singing is Nigerian. Since International artists started trickling in for performances in the country the issue of fees paid to local artists started to take place. On every show that is done there are local artists to curtain raise for the International act and in many cases those local guys prove to put a better show than the international acts. The fees paid to local artists is just pure mockery and a huge disgrace to art. Reggae is one of the most respected music genres in Zimbabwe.  the Legendary Bob Marley graced the nation on the independence celebrations in 1980 and gave a iconic performance, he even composed a song for Zimbabwe. From that day on-wards the seed of reggae/dancehall was sown in the country. Fast-forward to 2015 the reggae/dancehall seed is evidently bearing fruit as ZimDancehall is the major music genre in the country. Reggae has however taken a back seat. With the popularity of Prosperity Gospel these days, the song will fit right in. The song is an okay song according to me (am not a prosperity gospel fan). The video has a reggae feel to it and the lyrics are somehow similar to the song   Roots Rock Reggae   by the Late Great Bob Marley.
